On Sunday, August 20, 2023, Victory Church held its very first service on the 18180 US Highway 150 property since the fire on January 10, 2022.
What an incredible morning together! Just as the ancient saints did in scripture, we too gathered outside under our very own ‘tabernacle and tent of meeting’ to worship, give God thanks for all that’s been accomplished on the new facility, celebrate the new vision for a Christian School, and enjoy fellowship over great Mexican food provided by our loving Spanish family members. Additionally, members and guests were given the opportunity to see inside the new facility and hear even more vision about the construction. Nearly 90 messages of prayers and scriptures were written on the walls of the new building.
We are eternally grateful for the media outlets that joined our service to help us share the journey and story of the rebuild. Victory Church wants to thank WMBD, WEEK, WGLT, The Pantagraph, and other channels for sharing the rebuild. Special thanks also go out to Lester Kaufman of AFH Audio Services for providing his sound company during the services, and to Eleazar Hernandez and all of the Spanish families for cooking an amazing meal for us after the service. Due to their faithful generosity and incredible cooking, Victory Church’s fundraiser on Sunday brought in over $3,000 that will go toward the rebuilding of the new facility and Christian School. Praise be to God for His faithfulness and kindness toward us as we continue to rebuild a church and school for the city!
